Crickets and chocolate Torroncino

In this recipe we’ll show you a tasty sweet with some really special ingredients: baobab, BBQ crickets and chocolate!

For a very special and delicious nougat.

 

This is a unique dessert that will surprise both you and your guests.

The preparation is quick and easy, and the final result will look very professional!

 

Ingredients:

 

200 gr 00 flour, 100 gr corn flour "Fioretto", 50 gr potato starch, 155 gr sugar, 5 gr yeast, 4 spoons of baobab powder, 4 egg yolks, a package of BBQ crickets, 50 gr almond grains.

 

 

Method:

Use a cutter for the powders first, then add the cold diced butter and the egg yolks.

Add almonds and crickets and place the mixture in nougat-shaped moulds, applying a gentle pressure.

 

 

Cook to 160° for 35 minutes.

When you take them out of the oven, they will lose a little bit of volume, which you can fill with some melted chocolate.

Once they are cooled, remove them from the moulds, arrange on a plate and serve them.
