This is the recipe to prepare potato and grasshoppers tortelli with Greek spices on a bed of sour cream buffalo worms cream.
It sounds highfalutin, but no panic! The ingredients are available in our shop, and you can follow the video recipe here below to prepare them.
Let’s have a look at the ingredients:
100gr 0 flour, 1 egg, 250gr boiled potatoes, a package of seasoned locusts, a knob of butter, a package of sour cream buffalo worms, salt and pepper as needed.
Method:
Knead the flour with the egg to a smooth dough, then leave it to sit.
Mash the warm potatoes, add some salt and then the locusts that you’ve grinded roughly, then leave them to sit.
In the meantime, brown the buffalo worms in a pan with the butter, add 500 ml of water and bring this to a boil until half the liquid remains. Remove the pan from the heat and blend it with the immersion blender. Put the pan back on the heat and thicken it with a spoonful of potato starch. Add salt as needed.
Roll out the dough, cut it in squares, place a little bit of stuffing in the center and close the tortello. Cook the tortelli in boiling water, drain them and arrange them on a plate with some worms sauce on the bottom.
It’s not that complicated, right?
And you can always change the recipe using different types of insects and ingredients to experiment new combinations.
